First time event in Old Town The 2011 Tequila Trail kicked off this year’s Spirits of Mexico Festival in Old Town San Diego. Samples of Traditional Mexican dishes from Old Town’s Best restaurants were available throughout town! Participants tasted selections of Tequila, Mezcal and Bacanora, all Brands provided samples of their spirits. At Trail’s end, 3 After Parties kept the At Casa de Reyes, Tequila Herradura, at Casa Guadalajra, Tequila Milagro and at Café Coyote, it was Tequila Chinaco. The after Parties were a great place to wind down befor heading home. Tickets were purchased on line through Brown Paper Tickets. Opening ceremonies including a rememberance of 9/11 took place in the center of Old Town at Twiggs and San Diego Avenue. Everyone had a great time we hope to see you next year! |
