| Bazaar Del Mundo May 2-4, Cinco de Mayo - Diane Powers launched Old Town San Diego's first Cinco de Mayo celebration at the Bazaar del Mundo in 1983, and the popular celebration of Mexican culture has grown into one of today's largest Cinco de Mayo fiestas in America. Cinco revelers can enjoy authentic Mexican food, a "Margarita Garden" featuring the signature "Cincorita," mariachi music and folkloric dance performances at The Bazaar del Mundo Shops and Casa Guadalajara in Old Town, and Casa de Pico Restaurant in La Mesa.
